Walking home after school together this day, Jason, his four-year-old little sister, Alice, and his friends, Tom, Benny, Nic and Gina, who were all in the same Grade One with him, were busy discussing what Gina’s granddad had told the m about colour in Nature , when suddenly they realised they had arrived at the entrance to the park that was across the street from the shops, and also where Gina lives. It was Jason’s younger sister, Alice, who first noticed that it was again Granddad who was standing there to meet Gina to take her safely across the street.
